
1st day: Arrival and overnight hotel stay. Dinner in a typical restaurant in the city center.
2nd day: Privately guided tour. Morning visit of the most celebrated sites and monuments of Florence: the Cathedral, the Baptistery, Via Calzaioli, the House of Dante, Piazza Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, Loggia of the Lanzi, the Straw Market (Porcellino), Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti (from the outside), Santa Croce. Snack with Chianti wine tasting.
3rd day: Visit to the Gallery of the Academy and Museum of Musical Instruments. The gallery's renown is due to several sculptures by Michelangelo, the Prisoners, St. Matthew and especially the famed David, housed here since 1873 and around which the gallery scenario was planned.
The Museum of Musical Instruments exhibits circa 50 instruments from the private galleries of the Tuscan grand dukes of the Medici and Lorraine dynasties. Highlights of the collection include the tenor viola by Antonio Stradivari, the Cello that was part of the same quintent produced in 1690 for the Grand Prince Ferdinand, a Stradivarius violin of 1716 and a Cello by Niccolo' Amati of 1650.
You will complete this intense experience with a concert at the Teatro Comunale.
4th day: Morning tour with a private chauffeur of the hillsides around Florence: Piazzale Michelangelo with its breathtaking view of the city, the church of San Miniato al Monte and Fiesole. Transfer to airport or train station.
