Experience exhilirating bicycle excursions in the famed Chianti region. Ride among the rolling hillside vineyards of the magnificent Tuscan countryside. Stop in quaint old villages and farmhouses. Savor the excellent local produce. This unique tour offers a wealth of sensations for mind and body.





Programm:
1st day:  Arrival in the stately town of Siena.
Hotel accomodation, meeting with the guide and preparation of gear and  bicycles.  You will have a fine dinner and enjoy a walk across the magnificent  Piazza del Campo.

2nd day:  First bicycle excursion: Siena, Monteriggioni, San Gimignano.  Tour of the splendid towns of the Sienese countryside.  Farmhouse visit, wine tasting and savoring of local produce.
The tour continues through two towns famed for their Chianti wine: Castellina in Chianti, Radda. Hotel overnight stay.

3rd day: The Chianti region
Back on the road again, ride through towns whose names echo the most valued Chianti wines: Gaiole, Badia a Coltibuono, Panzano and Greve. There will be ample time to browse through squares, farmhouses and markets.  Continue on to Florence for overnight hotel stay.

4th day: Departure

Please note that it is possible to extend the stay by one or more nights and to vary the itinerary.
The tour includes: 3 nights in hotel, breakfast included (if requested) in either hotels or agrotourism accomodations; privately guided bicycle tour; bicycle rentals.
